about me

I am a year Ph.D. candidate in Human-computer Interaction in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison with Professor Bilge Mutlu, My research focuses on how we may use robotic and computer technologies to improve the way that people communicate across distances. Specifically, I focus on using quantitative and qualitative methods to explore how using telepresence robots (e.g., Beam, Double, Kubi) shapes user interactions in both controlled laboratory and real-world settings.
